The most talked about scientist since Einstein has died aged 76.
Instantly recognised with celebrity status, he managed to overcome many disabilities to become a prominent physicist.
Britain has lost a national treasure.

His name is at the top of the list when it comes to physics etc.
He done mush for those with disabilities as well.
