To begin with, this is the general football chat room for all British football matters. Obviously, if you want to use one of the categories below, do that. However, this General Football Forum does what it says on the tin.

Premier League Games To Resume On 17 June 2020

At last, football in the UK will resume.
After a few months of social distancing, the Premier League clubs have voted for contact training again.

The season will resume on Wednesday, June 17, 2020.
The first 2 games will be:

Aston Villa vs Sheffield United
Manchester City vs Arsenal

All remaining 92 games will be shown on television and no supporters are allowed in the grounds to watch the games - ie behind closed doors.

Some or even all the games may be played on neutral grounds to avoid fans turning up.
This will be almost certain for derby games - ie Liverpool and Everton and the London derby matches.

Let's hope that all this goes smoothly and let's get this season done and dusted.
